First Families of Franklin County
"First Families" are still being recognized and honored by the Franklin County Historical Society - Kittochtinny. An applicant must be a direct descendant from an ancestor who settled in what is now Franklin County, PA, by December 31, 1818.
The application form can be accessed by clicking on application link below (First Family application form), download, print and then complete all pages and then mail back to us all pages with required information. (No electronic submission) United States Postal Service only. You must go to our Online Gift Shop on the Home page, click on button and then click Library, First Family fee and pay.
