Genealogy Services
A) Come on in!
Members of FCHS-K have access to the extensive resources at the genealogy library without charge. Non-members may use the research facilities at the Old Jail for a nominal fee of $5.00 a day. Librarians are available to assist you.
B) Submit a Request
The Historical Society offers research services. The fee is $30.00 for one to two hours of research. We provide five sources and up to ten copies reproduced. Additional copies are reproduced at a cost of 25 cents a page. To secure these services, click on the Research Request Form below. Complete it and submit to FCHS-K.

After submitting the form, follow one of the procedures below to pay for the Genealogy Research request.

Once we receive payment then and only then can we work your request.

We are aware of the following persons who do research for a fee, however, we cannot recommend any one person. We know they do research here in the Society's library and with courthouse records.
