We cannot accept unsolicited donations at this time. (Updated July 2025).

We generally accept: locally relevant objects, books and textiles with the following guidelines:

​

- Objects must have a connection to Franklin County, PA

​

- Genealogical resources, books, genealogies relevant to Franklin County Families

​

- Books on local history

​

We do not accept:​

​

- Old newspapers, or newspaper clippings. We have digitized over One Million pages of Franklin County newspapers - accessible for free to our members.​

​

- Historical artifacts that do not have a direct connection to Franklin County, PA. - Our mission is to preserve local history, and unfortunately we do not have room in our facilities to accept all items of historical value.

- Unidentified photos. Unfortunately we cannot accept photos of unidentified individuals. Historic photos of identified local people, places and things are generally accepted if historically relevant.
